The role
As a Trainee Teaching Assistant you will:
1. Receive a free package of approved training
2. Complete Safeguarding, Child Protection, behaviour management and SEND training
3. Complete a 5-days PAID placement, Monday to Friday, in a school
4. Be a motivated, organised and dedicated person
5. Be able to build positive working relationships quickly
The school
Vision for Education works with a large number of schools in the Bristol, BANES and South Gloucestershire area. We are passionate about making a positive impact in education. Therefore, in partnership with schools in our local communities, we are proud to launch our National Teaching Assistant Programme (NTAP), designed to support those who want to start a Teaching Assistant career.

To be considered for the Trainee Teaching Assistant position, you will:

9. Have a desire to support children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities
10. Ideally hold a driving licence and have access to your own vehicle

All staff we register will undertake thorough interviewing and referencing checks and hold, or be prepared to undergo, an Enhanced DBS check that must be registered on the Update Service.
Salary Requirements
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position is
11. to have or be prepared to undergo an Enhanced DBS check
12. to have an Enhanced DBS that is on the update service (child workforce or child and adult workforce)
