Job Purpose:
To plan and carry out direct marketing and sales activities, so as to maintain and develop sales of Red Sky’s portfolio of Telecommunication, Vehicle Tracking, Connectivity and Utilities product range to UK SMEs and specifiers, in accordance with agreed business plans and KPIs.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
* To achieve KPIs agreed with line manager and report progress on a weekly/monthly basis as required.
* Plan and prioritize personal sales activities and customer/prospect contact towards achieving agreed business aims, including costs and sales.
* Plan and manage personal business portfolio/territory/business according to an agreed market development strategy.
* Manage product/service mix, pricing, and margins according to agreed aims.
* Maintain and develop existing and new customers through appropriate propositions and ethical sales methods.
* Use customer and prospect contact activities tools and systems, and update relevant information held in these systems, including Microsoft Dynamics CRM.
* Plan/carry out/support local marketing activities to agreed budgets and timescales.
* Respond to and follow up sales enquiries using appropriate methods.
* Monitor and report on market and competitor activities and provide relevant reports and information.
* Record, analyze, report, and administer according to systems and requirements.
* Communicate, liaise, and negotiate internally and externally to facilitate the development of profitable business and sustainable relationships.
* Attend and present at external customer meetings and internal meetings.
* Attend training and develop relevant knowledge, techniques, and skills.
* Adhere to health and safety policy and other requirements relating to care of equipment.
* Plan and carry out direct marketing activities to agreed budgets, sales volumes, values, product mix, and timescales.
* Develop ideas and create offers for marketing to customer accounts.
* Respond to and follow up sales enquiries by post, telephone, and personal visits.
* Maintain and develop existing and new customers through planned individual account support.
* Monitor and report on activities and provide relevant management information.
* Liaise and attend meetings with other company functions necessary to perform duties.
* Market and technology research.
* Formulation of strategy to achieve KPIs agreed with line manager.
