Job Description
Mane are looking for an experienced Resource Co Ordinator to join our client, a leading Civil Engineering company to work on a variety of projects across Airports Infrastructure, Power & Communications, Rail Systems, and Plant & Transport.
This role involves coordinating internal resources and identifying the need for external contractors, with a strong emphasis on fatigue management and roster scheduling. The Resource Coordinator will play a key role in ensuring projects are delivered on time, safely, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Resource Management:
* Oversee and manage the resource roster.
* Collaborate with the Resource Manager, project managers, and site supervisors to determine weekly resource requirements.
* Monitor resource utilization and make adjustments to improve efficiency.
* Fatigue Management:
* Develop and maintain fatigue management plans in accordance with industry standards and company policies.
* Track employee work hours and rest periods to ensure compliance with fatigue management guidelines.
* Conduct regular evaluations to identify and mitigate potential fatigue-related risks.
* Roster Coordination:
* Manage staff schedules, ensuring all shifts are covered while adhering to fatigue management protocols.
* Coordinate with the Resource Manager and site teams to align rosters with employee availability, skill sets, and project requirements.
* Handle leave requests, shift swaps, and overtime, ensuring operational needs are met without compromising employee well-being.
* Communication & Collaboration:
* Serve as a point of contact for resource-related inquiries from project teams and other stakeholders.
* Work with the Resource Manager to identify resource needs and address issues related to resource availability or fatigue management.
* Promote a positive work environment that encourages open communication and teamwork.
Experience Required:
* At least 2 years of experience in resource coordination or workforce planning.
* Demonstrated experience in fatigue management and roster scheduling.
Skills & Competencies:
* Strong organizational and time-management abilities, with a focus on prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively within diverse teams.
* Knowledge of industry regulations and best practices related to fatigue management and workforce planning.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and project management software.
