The ideation team in Product Insight and Ideation is a dynamic, ambitious and customer-centric team whose goal is to empower English language learning and enable better results for our learners and teachers across the globe, through our world-class English language learning and assessment materials and propositions.

About the role
We are seeking an experienced product manager to define global propositions and sector portfolio strategies by:
* Collaborating with Product Owners to feed customer and market requirements into product development
* Driving product development to meet customer needs and deliver financial return
* Identifying new opportunities for growth and making evidence-based decisions on which opportunities to pursue.
* Developing and implementing product strategies and initiatives that drive product updates and exploit opportunities for growth.
* Preparing business cases for new products and services, and for changes to existing products; building cross-divisional support to ensure developments are delivered.
* Supporting regional Commercial colleagues to develop and establish regional sales and distribution strategies in key markets to ensure that targets are met.
* Defining and communicating the positioning of products and its strategic fit within the wider portfolio.
* Working closely with the global sales team to identify and explore market opportunities and new product requirements.
About you
You will be an experienced, collaborative and ambitious product professional with industry-relevant experience.
You will be able to influence stakeholders through your excellent spoken and written communication skills and your customer-focused product strategies, business cases and roadmaps that drive product solutions in response to customer problems and market opportunities.
You will have experience or interest in working in agile multi-functional teams and will use your creativity, analytical mind and financial acumen to help Cambridge respond to its competitive environment.
Even if you do not have a technical background, you will be technically curious and able to communicate effectively with all stakeholders and find the best solutions for customers.
