Graduate Researcher - Excellent Written Skills Needed - Prestigious Charity - Kent - £25k-£29K
We’re on the hunt for a Graduate Researcher, with exceptional written skills and a highly organised, meticulous nature, to join the fundraising team of a prestigious national charity in their office in Kent.
A focused and forensic-style approach to information gathering and research, together with excellent written skills, organisation and project management skills, will ensure you excel in this role.

Please be aware, this is predominantly an office based role, but hybrid working will be available and flexibility will be required to attend events.
Key responsibilities as the Graduate Researcher will include:
* Maintaining a portfolio of existing trusts and foundations
* Proactively identifying and researching new prospective trust funders and finding creative ways to engage with them to secure support
* Creating compelling and tailored fundraising applications and reports
* Supporting the highest levels of donor care for supporters
* Researching, interpreting and presenting data
* Supporting with bid presentations
* Maintaining accurate records and information about all applications
* Updating CRM database (Raiser’s Edge)
* Representing the charity at internal and external events
What we’re looking for:
* Graduate (or equivalent)
* Impeccable research and information gathering skills
* Confident interpersonal communication skills
* Excellent written communication skills with the ability to vary written communication styles
* Commercial awareness and good business acumen
* Experienced in using CRM databases is desired (Raiser’s Edge advantageous)
* IT literate with good MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc)
* Full, valid driving licence and the ability to drive / travel to meetings and events as required
