Shifts: 37.5 hours per week, Monday – Friday, 9am until 5:30pm with 1 hours unpaid lunch break

Purpose of role
The Graphic Designer will be a dynamic graphic designer joining a Creative team, based at our Onshore Delivery Centre in Leeds, supporting our client, a leading global law firm based in London.
The Designer will work on a variety of print and digital projects. Using InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator, this role requires you to work at pace with keen attention to detail. As the Designer you will use your eye for detail and software knowledge to produce and deliver projects including business brochures, advertising, press inserts, web graphics, infographics and a variety of other print-based design work from brief through to print.
We are looking for someone with a ‘can-do’ attitude, willing to put forward ideas and have a keen eye for detail. Ensuring that all work sent out is to the highest standard and within brand guidelines. The candidate should be an extremely organised and dedicated individual with strong communications skills.
The work is very fast moving and often requires the application of judgement. You will be required to interpret numerous client instructions and translate those requirements into ‘branded’ concepts and final designs, which work in both the digital and print spaces.
Key responsibilities
1. Advising clients on print, layout, branding and deadlines.
2. Production of high-quality print and digital materials, including multimedia or complex PowerPoint
3. Art working including photo editing
4. Work on multiple projects simultaneously, adhering to project timelines and deadlines.
5. Ensure compliance with brand guidelines, legal requirements, and industry standards.
6. Regular interaction with clients, as well as close collaboration with your creative colleagues, bringing a breadth of creativity and innovation to the team.
7. Working in a highly compliant environment, you will provide a seamless service that surpasses client briefs, whilst ensuring the delivery of on-brand creative material
8. Building strong client relationships with key stakeholders and relevant support teams, as is your ability to win client work and grow your service
9. Quality checking high-quality design, artwork within Client brand guidelines and to approved briefs and timescales
Key competencies
10. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in graphic design
11. In depth understanding of print and design processes
12. Excellent typography and layout skills
13. Advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud – InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator
14. Advanced knowledge of PowerPoint
15. Experience creating and editing iPDF documents
16. Working knowledge of HTML and CSS would be an advantage
17. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
18. Strong organisation skills and the ability to prioritise effectively
19. Ability to work to tight deadlines whilst under pressure
20. Must be able to work on their own initiative
21. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
22. High levels of accuracy and attention to detail
