Job Responsibilities
As a skilled CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for setting up, programming, and operating machines to produce precision parts according to specifications. Your expertise in machining techniques, ability to interpret technical drawings, and commitment to delivering high-quality products will be essential to your success.
* Support the CNC Production Technical Lead while being a primary resource for programming.
* Safely and efficiently operate CNC machines to produce components as per engineering drawings.
* Operate various machines, including Doosan Vertical, Nikken 4th Axis mill with Fanuc control, Doosan Lynx 2100 LSYA lathe with Fanuc control, Tormach 770 Vertical, and Tormach 15L Lathe.
* Collaborate with engineers on new designs, providing input on design for manufacture.
* Schedule work and allocate tasks effectively.
* Choose appropriate cutting tools, tool holders, and fixtures for each job.
* Provide inspection resources for first-article and interim checks.
* Perform routine maintenance on CNC machines and report any issues to the maintenance department.
* Troubleshoot and resolve technical and production issues during the machining process.
* Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to all safety guidelines and protocols.
* Update documentation of machine setup, tooling, and production data.
* Work collaboratively with engineers, supervisors, and team members to achieve production goals.
