The role
You will complete all repair and improvement work safely, efficiently and to client satisfaction.
You must also communicate effectively with internal office staff, colleagues, managers and customers whilst performing other duties as appropriate to the job level, including providing support to colleagues as directed by their manager.
The right fit
1. Competent in at least two of the following trades (one of which must be joinery): Joinery Plumbing Plastering Tiling Groundworks Roofing Glazing NVQ level 2 qualification in core trade (or equivalent).
2. Ability to work as part of a team.
3. Ability to query jobs and liaise with office staff and managers.
4. Ability to plan and prioritise workload.
5. Working to deadlines and agreed targets.
6. Full awareness of relevant H&S requirements and considerations.
7. Experience of working with Housing Associations and managing repairs is desirable.
8. Dealing with members of the public on a regular basis.
9. Full UK driving licence.
