A look into the role Reporting to the Assistant Manager and/or Store Manager, you will help to lead the store team to provide a shopping experience that exceeds our customers expectations and makes a difference in the local community. As a Team Leader, you will: Alongside the Assistant Manager and/or Store Manager, lead the store team to follow store policies, standards, and practices. Take responsibility for the store in the absence of other leaders (includes keyholder responsibility). Be a positive role model to the team and represent our values of Ambition, Customer First, Teamwork, and Integrity. Train, manage the workload, and support your team, whilst being hands-on in the store ensuring you work together to have the right resources in the right place at the right time to deliver the best customer experience. Support the Store Manager to maximise store performance, including understanding and implementing the store plan and priorities. Alongside the store team, actively promote and get involved in initiatives to support the local community. You may be required to cover the Post Office as part of this role. Skills for Success Joining us as a Team Leader, the minimum criteria youll need are: You must be aged 18 years or over (for store legislative requirements) with previous store retail experience, including at least 6 months at a supervisory level leading a team in a customer-focused environment. A natural ability to listen, interact, and communicate with customers and team members. Target-driven to help the store achieve their business plans/priorities, and focused on continuous improvement.
