Job Description:
Position: Occupational Therapist - Neurodevelopmental assessments.
Location: Newcastle Upon Tyne NE3 (Hybrid)
Role: Permanent
Salary: £35,000 - £65,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Start: ASAP
Our client is an award-winning, NHS and HSE approved practice dedicated to providing high-quality psychological care across the UK and Ireland. They offer neurodevelopmental and psychological assessments for adults and children, as well as expert witness assessments for courts, parole boards, and legal cases.
The Role: This is a hybrid role for qualified clinicians in the Neurodevelopmental Assessment Team, focusing on autism and/or ADHD assessments for children referred via NHS Patient choice and GP referral. Some tasks may be performed remotely. The candidate must be able to travel to the Harrogate base. Responsibilities include conducting comprehensive assessments with established diagnostic tools, writing reports, providing recommendations, and possibly supervising junior staff.
Qualifications:
* HCPC registered Occupational Therapist.
* Eligibility to work in the UK.
* Experience with diagnostic neurodevelopmental assessments in children and young people.
* ADOS-2/ ADI-R trained.
* Teamwork skills.
* Report writing and record keeping experience.
* Participation in clinical supervision.
