You will be working within a team of experienced accounting professionals and will benefit from a number of social events that they offer. The Responsibilities The purpose of this role is to provide accounting support to a number of clients where you will be assisting them with their day-to-day accounting activities. You will be liaising with internal stakeholders as well as client contacts on a regular basis. On a day-to-day basis you can expect to be responsible for the following; Processing purchase invoices and ensuring that payment runs are prepared within agreed timescales. Reconciliation of client bank accounts to ensure that the accounts balance. Process of invoices and subsequent allocation of money received. Process of receipts and expenses inline with client policies. Assisting in the month end process and production of adhoc reports. The Requirements We are looking for an experienced accounts assistant/bookkeeper who has strong accounting knowledge. The software that our client uses is Xero so we are seeking applicants who have prior experience of using Xero (minimum of 3 years). Our client is a rapidly growing business that has a high degree of professionalism. As such we are seeking an individual who has a can do, will do attitude and one who is confident in working within a fast paced environment. Our client has indicated that a candidate who has worked as a bookkeeper or accounts assistant with an accounting practice would be ideal, however this role is not working within an accounting firm. We are seeking candidates who are locally based in Stirling (30 minute commute to town centre), and who has access to a car.
