I am working exclusively with a vehicle service business based in the Cheetham Hill area that seeks a number of people for various roles within the vehicle administration department. I have already recruited some of these roles, but due to expansion, I need a few more people! If you come from a dealership, fleet, or logistics business, these roles will be ideal. My client will also consider experienced administrators with an eye for detail and the ability to work to deadlines.
The ideal candidate could have:
1. Experience from within this field and familiarity with DVSA and HGV vehicle testing rules and regulations (this would be nice but not essential).
2. Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
3. The ability to maintain concentration while working within a busy environment, be methodical in approach, and have an eye for detail.
4. A good understanding of Excel and other Microsoft software.
5. A self-motivated, excellent timekeeper who is well-organized and has a willingness to learn and apply past experience to better complete given tasks by following the correct procedures and processes.
Key duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
1. Ensuring all vehicles on fleet are scheduled for MOT at the correct time.
2. Answering telephone calls and emails.
3. Completing daily checks for various systems.
4. Keeping track of MOT bookings and costs.
5. Striving to build and maintain relationships with both customers and suppliers.
6. Liaison with DVSA regarding vehicle testing.
Working days are Monday to Friday, 9-5pm.
