About the Role:
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Van Driver with removals experience to join our friendly team in Norwich. As a Van Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently for residential and commercial removals, providing excellent customer service along the way. This is a hands-on role requiring physical work, and we are looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Safely operate a van to transport household and office items for removals.
2. Load, unload, and secure goods for transportation, ensuring careful handling.
3. Assist customers with packing, disassembly, and reassembly of furniture when required.
4. Provide excellent customer service with a professional and friendly attitude.
5. Complete all necessary paperwork, including delivery notes and job sheets.
6. Ensure the van is well-maintained, clean, and serviced regularly.
7. Work as part of a team to complete removals on time and to a high standard.
Skills & Experience Required:
1. Must have removals experience - handling furniture and personal belongings with care.
2. A valid driver's license with a good driving record.
3. Physically fit and capable of lifting heavy items.
4. Excellent communication and customer service skills.
5. Ability to work efficiently and as part of a team.
6. Good time management skills and attention to detail.
