The Trusts Infection Prevention and Control service are seeking a proactive, dynamic team player with excellent communication and IT successful candidate must possess proficient IT and organisational skills, together with administrative experience. The successful candidate will be comfortable engaging with all staff grades and have the communication skills to support will be working in a team of very supportive, committed and talented people. Main duties of the job
The individual will be supporting the Corporate Director of IPC, Infection Control Doctor and Deputy Director of IPC with personal provide administrative/secretarial support to the Infection Prevention and Control Team (IPCT).To assist with data collection and analysis required as part of the national Infection Control agenda (full training will be given).To set up and manage invitations, minutes and papers for agreed meetings, including robust and clear action outputs and timely post holder will assist with the co-ordination of audit activity and presentation of audit reports, according to the needs of the service.

Job responsibilities
- Manage the incoming requests including telephone, email and face to face communications. Respond and escalate these requests in an appropriate format.- Communicate information which may be of a complicated or sensitive nature to staff and other departments.- Build a good rapport with internal and external stakeholders to make arrangements for meetings, events and workshops.- Arrange meetings, issue agendas, take minutes, type and distribute minutes and reports.- Organise appropriate rooms, materials and tools to effectively run the IPC service.- Produce spreadsheets and audit information as required.- Produce educational presentations and policy updates as directed by the Infection Prevention and Control Team.- Enter surveillance data into relevant databases as required.- Word processing of reports and letters from manuscript or audio using Microsoft Office software products.

Experience/Qualifications
Essential
1. 5 GSCE's including English & Maths or equivalent
2. Demonstrable experience of working in an administrative role at a high level of competence
3. Knowledge and experience of secretarial function software programmes
