Academics are partnering with a welcoming and supportive school in Bristol, which is seeking a committed and enthusiastic Behaviour Mentor to join their team on a temp-to-perm basis starting ASAP.

On-site parkingKey Responsibilities:
Supporting children with mild to moderate SEN, including Autism (ASD), ADHD, Global Delay, communication and social interaction challenges, and mild behaviour issues.
Working with small groups or on a 1:1 basis to facilitate progress in learning.
Providing a calm, supportive, and interactive approach to keep children motivated during lessons.
Celebrating achievements to help build confidence and encourage positive behaviour.Requirements/Qualifications:
A degree in Psychology, Criminology, Sociology or similar at a 2:1 or above.
Good knowledge of SEN
Previous experience as a behaviour mentor or SEN Teaching Assistant would be an advantage
Calm, patient and resilient approach
Work well in a team and on own initiative
