Due to the secure nature of this project, we require single UK Nationals. All applicants must hold or be prepared to undergo National Security Vetting (NSV), Security Check (SC), level.
There is a strong preference for an individual to be based in Northern Ireland for this role; however, consideration will be given to candidates who can travel to Belfast regularly (approximately twice a month for two-day visits).
Your future duties and responsibilities
Join our dynamic team as a Programme Support Lead, where you will play a crucial role in delivering comprehensive program support for our contract. This position requires a detail-oriented and proactive professional dedicated to maintaining and enhancing operational and administrative processes.
1. Documentation Maintenance: Oversee updates to client-facing tools, such as team contact lists and leave/availability trackers.
2. Programme Status Monitoring: Conduct monthly programme status checkpoints to ensure all milestones are being met.
3. Process Oversight: Manage and issue updates for Step F processes, ensuring complete mobilisation of programme activities.
4. Report Coordination: Coordinate and manage internal fortnightly executive reporting packs and weekly leadership team packs.
5. Risk Management: Support internal risk sessions, maintain and update risk registers, and coordinate with partners for risk updates.
6. Action Register Tracking: Maintain and track actions within internal registers and support programme teams in meeting management and action tracking.
7. Board Pack Preparation: Assist in the preparation and delivery of board packs and related artefacts.
8. Induction Pack Maintenance: Ensure that comprehensive induction packs are up-to-date and accessible.
9. Document Management: Oversee the maintenance of document management processes and update toolset 'how-to' processes as needed.
10. Terms of Reference: Regularly update the programme team's Terms of Reference to reflect current operations.
11. Ad-hoc Support: Provide additional support for programme activities as required to meet the evolving needs of the project.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role
1. Demonstrable experience in programme and change management within regulated sectors.
2. Proven ability to manage large, complex teams and projects, preferably within financial services or telecommunications.
3. Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all organizational levels.
4. Proficiency in IT service delivery and operations management.
5. Acute attention to detail with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
6. Experience in financial and commercial management.
7. Familiarity with modern project management tools and methodologies (e.g., Lean Six Sigma, Agile/Scrum, PMM tools like Jira and Confluence).
