Job summary An exciting opportunity has become available for a highly motivated and passionate administrator to join the Placement & Medical Education team that sits within the Education and Research Directorate. As part of these teams, the post holder will support with the coordination of all student/learner clinical activity across the Trust providing administrative support to both the placement/medical education teams and the wider education department. The role also requires the collection/input of accurate data onto bespoke IT systems/Excel spreadsheets to support the production and distribution of reports. A requirement to continually develop and maintain clear processes and systems to support all placement/clinical provision which impact and support quality of practice learning and student/learner progression. The role requires the post holder to support all activity across all sites; therefore, there will be an expectation to travel across all sites within the Trust and to travel across the region to support our Higher Education Institutes (HEIs) partners with exams/open events etc. Main duties of the job Maintain and support the processes in respect of all placement systems/medical education activity to ensure a quality standard of accuracy of data is established and maintained. Provide administration support for all learners including organising & coordinating all the administration platforms/databases that are a requirement for NHSE, HEI's and other regulatory bodies. Support both medical education & placement team in organising room bookings/facilities, providing the necessary administration for scheduled teaching & education programmes/workshops. Development of documentation, communications and guidance around placement learning/clinical activity that will underpin effective training and education across DBTH.
