JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Title: Human Resource Manager
Reporting to: Director of Finance & Business Services
Working Hours: 35 hours per week with hybrid working and flexible shift patterns available between - 1700, Monday-Friday.
Salary Range: £37,000 per annum to £45,000 per annum depending on experience.
To the best of our ability, we will provide IT equipment to allow for hybrid working but you will require access to a suitable broadband connection.

Role Purpose
On Music Ltd is a rapidly expanding and fast-moving company which has experienced considerable sustained growth over the last 3 years. We therefore require a Human Resources Manager to join our team.
The HR Manager will be responsible for the HR life cycle within the company, including creating and delivering people strategies that support the business in meeting their goals. In this role you will report to the Director of Finance & Business Services. You will concentrate on maintaining the smooth running of the company processes and ensure that all personnel act in line with company policies. This will include analysis, development and implementation of HR within the company, including any external elements such as legislation and recommended ‘Best Practice.’ You will also work closely with the HR team in elements as detailed in the key responsibility areas below:
Key Responsibility Areas
Recruitment & Selection
· Oversee the recruitment process including managing the recruitment cycle, implementing any necessary changes in line with ‘Best Practice’ and legislation.
· Report all recruitment and selection activity monthly to the Line Manager, utilising HR analysis and trackers .
Absence Management
· Manage absence across the organisation reporting to the Line Manager, providing solutions and support where necessary to the HR and Operational staff, ensuring appropriate parties are informed and advised when required.
· Manage and provide support of employee relation cases relating to sickness absence.
· Analyse absence data for weekly, monthly, and ad-hoc reports to be reviewed by Line Manager.
Employee Relations
· Anaylse, implement and support the employee lifecycle from induction to leaver to ensure all relevant paperwork and processes are up to ‘Best Practice’ and legislation.
· Actively support the Line Managers in the management of employee relations, to promote a high level of employee morale and motivation, demonstrating employees are managed consistently and fairly throughout issues such as grievances, investigations, and disciplinary hearings.
· Research and ensure best practice and legislation is adhered to.
Training and Development
· Support the company and staff members to ensure full potential of learning and development.
· Work with operational line managers to identify areas of development and progression for all employees.
· Support with analytical research and methodology.
· Design and delivery of development workshops in areas of HR best practice to enhance the knowledge and skills of all employees and the management team.
HR Information System (HRIS)
· Manage the HRIS and other applicable tracking systems are updated in a timely and accurate manner .
· Anaylse weekly, monthly, and ad-hoc reports, compiling statistical information as required, supporting operational line managers with continuous improvement and review of performance e.g. absence, turnover, and staff surveys.
· Manage information and prepare statutory reports in a timely and accurate manner including Article 55 reviews and annual monitoring returns to ensure adherence with the Equality Commission requirements.
· Maintain employee records in compliance with GDPR regulations.
Other HR Duties
· Collaboration on development, and implementation of HR policies, procedures, and systems in line with legislative changes and CIPD best practice.
· Consultation on all HR related queries, providing professional advice, guidance and support to managers and staff on HR policies and procedures.
· Develop effective and efficient operating procedures for HR duties .
· Co-operative participation with Operational Management regarding performance appraisal reviews procedures, including reviewing and updating procedures to all managers, assisting where necessary.
· Contribute to developing employee engagement activities such as staff events .
· Manage various HR projects in line with the HR department’s objectives.
· Provide analytics and support to Organisational Structure and Design.

1. Degree educated in a relevant HR field or holds a CIPD qualification
Experience
2. 2+ year’s experience in an HR Manager or 5+ year’s experience in an HR Officer position across full HR lifecycle

6. Proven track record of managing a varied workload
