Data & Insight Manager – Bromley Lakeland Dairies Co-operative Society Limited (The Group) is the second largest dairy processor on the island of Ireland. The Group’s Agribusiness Division (Lakeland Agri) operates a state-of-the-art Animal Feed Manufacturing Facility and is a leading and innovative provider of the highest quality feeds and agricultural inputs to dairy, beef, and sheep farmers across the north and south of Ireland. Applications are invited for the above position to work as part as our Marketing Team based in Bromley with travel to Ireland to be expected. The Role Reporting to the Head of Marketing Foodservice & Consumer Foods, the role holder will be seen as the Data & Insights lead across the Foodservice & Consumer Foods Division. The role will be seen as the research & insight champion by gathering data, analysing & interpreting multiple data sources within the Foodservice & Retail sectors. The role will be responsible for developing compelling insights [Macro & Micro] to grow our group of categories & tracking performance for established and developing markets / categories. The Person The role requires a candidate to be degree level educated (or equivalent) and have experience in analysing, interpreting, and presenting data. A degree-level education in Marketing or Food Science would be desirable but not essential. Experience in continuous & ad hoc research data within the food/drink industry is essential, as well as experience with quantitative & qualitative data within the food industry. It would be advantageous if the candidate had experience in an insight/data role within the dairy industry, experience in a dairy insight/research/category analyst role or experience in a market research/insight role however this is not essential. The candidate must be able to demonstrate that they are highly commercially aware, have high level of numeracy skills, manipulating and analysing data-generation of compelling analysis/insights and have high level of written and verbal communication skills. They should have the ability to build successful working relationships with all cross functional colleagues/remote colleagues, have the ability to change direction appropriately to meet job demands and should be able to take the initiative & want to improve the way things are done. Candidates should be prepared to travel to Northern Ireland/Ireland & other customer markets as required.
