We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Block Manager to join our dedicated London Property Management team based within our head office in London to oversee our central London AST Block portfolio. This role involves the management of communal areas on managed blocks and supporting the wider Property Management team.
The post holder will join a small team working across a range of levels and support functions. Our London Chapel Place office has over 100 professionals across our main divisions which means there are lots of exciting events going on with various office socials, health & wellbeing and fundraising activities to get involved in.

Main tasks:
* To be the key point of contact for clients, contractors and residents in relation to all block matters
* Ensure effective management of the portfolio and manage any queries relating to the block or property
* Ensure all Health and Safety legislation, policies, fire risk assessments and health and safety reports are actioned and maintained
* Ensure and co-ordinate any major works programming (and necessary reserve fund) complies with the lease, annually reviewing and liaising with surveyors and contractors
* Oversee management of any contracts and/or service agreements
* Carry out inspections on the residential portfolio in line with the client management agreement
* To liaise with client account to prepare and manage the budget for each block
* Monitor the expenditure vs budget alongside outstanding debtors regarding staying within budget constraints
What will it take to be successful?
We are seeking someone with experience in Block Management, ideally qualified to AIRPM/MIRPM standard or equivalent standard of experience. You will have strong customer service skills with the ability to build and maintain long-term relationships with stakeholders. You’ll be a strong team player with good interpersonal skills, IT literate and comfortable working with databases and relevant software.
