This part-time role offers a fantastic opportunity to provide tailored support to a child with specific learning needs, helping them to develop confidence and thrive in a nurturing environment.
Your Role as a 1:1 Teaching Assistant:
* Provide individualised support to ensure the child’s academic and emotional well-being
* Work closely with the class teacher to adapt lesson plans and learning resources
* Encourage focus and engagement by tailoring activities to the child’s needs
* Monitor progress and contribute to their academic and social development
* Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment
What We’re Looking For:
* Experience working with children, ideally in a school setting
* Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting children’s growth
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* A proactive and adaptable approach
Desirable Skills & Experience:
* Experience working with children with additional learning needs
* Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant certification)
