Job Purpose As an integral part of the HR team, the HR Administrator will provide high-quality administrative and reporting support to ensure effective delivery of the HR function across the business. Working closely with the HR Business Partner and the wider HR teams across the group, this role is suited to someone with a keen interest in developing a career in HR, who values confidentiality, accuracy, and stakeholder engagement. The HR Administrator will be responsible for maintaining HR systems, generating reports, supporting recruitment and onboarding processes, and ensuring all activities comply with legal and internal requirements. Key Responsibilities • Act as a first point of contact for routine HR queries, escalating complex matters to the HR Business Partner. • Maintain accurate employee records in HR systems and prepare regular HR reports (e.g., KPIs such as absence, turnover, starters/leavers). • Support recruitment and onboarding processes including right-to-work checks, issuing contracts, scheduling interviews, and preparing new starter documentation. • Handle the issuing and management of employee lockers, ID and security passes, and maintain accurate logs. • Assist with the preparation of offer letters, contracts of employment, and ensure all documentation is securely stored in line with GDPR. • Support investigation processes with accurate notetaking and scheduling. • Work with the HR team to roll out new policies, procedures, and training as required. • Maintain a high level of discretion and confidentiality when handling sensitive information. • Foster strong relationships with key internal stakeholders and contribute to a positive employee experience. • Demonstrate commitment to the company’s values and sustainability objectives. Skills & Experience • Working towards or achieved CIPD Level 3 qualification (minimum) or above. • Strong attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information with integrity. • Excellent IT and technology skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and HR systems. • Experience of working in a fast-paced, multi-site environment – preferably in food manufacturing or similar. • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders. • Highly organised with good time management and the ability to work under pressure. • A proactive and motivated approach, with a genuine interest in developing a career in HR.
