Job Description
The Regional Property and Critical Engineering department manages the delivery of top-tier property and engineering management services and products to enhance staff workplace satisfaction and productivity. It ensures a reliable infrastructure available 24/7, supporting the business operations of a world-leading financial services company. As the Regional Property and Critical Engineering Head - Global Real Estate - Executive Director, you will develop short- and long-term strategic property and engineering programs aligned with the Global Real Estate (GRE) regional and global agenda. Your focus will be on supporting business needs by leveraging the latest industry trends and innovations.
Job responsibilities
1. Lead and Develop Teams: Build a high-performing team of passionate, role-fit professionals, focusing on talent attraction and retention. Ensure cohesive operations across property management, workplace operations, FLS/EHS, and engineering functions.
2. Standardize and Implement Guidelines: Maintain consistency of global/regional playbooks, guidelines, standards, and procedures within the region. Deliver precision and pride in daily team operations.
3. Promote Sustainability: Develop programs supporting the firm's green goals, incorporating industry trends and market opportunities. Manage sustainability initiatives holistically, from site selection to daily operations.
4. Enhance Resiliency: Strategize and implement resiliency programs through well-designed infrastructure and resource platforms. Oversee management of owned and co-located data centers, representing GRE in firmwide resiliency forums.
5. Facilitate Project Design and Transactions: Support transaction teams with site selection and technical due diligence to meet business objectives. Manage design remits for new projects, ensuring alignment with standards and operational requirements.
6. Cultivate Client Relationships: Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal clients and stakeholders, including Technology, Security, and Compliance.
7. Ensure Safety and Compliance: Manage FLS and EHS programs according to firm standards and regulatory requirements. Conduct audits and represent the firm in governance forums.
8. Oversee Moves, Adds, and Changes (MACs): Coordinate with D&C PMO to deliver timely and cost-effective services to clients.
9. Control Financials and Operations: Develop and manage property and engineering budgets in collaboration with finance and regional management. Ensure effective financial reporting and operational analytics to improve costs and performance.
10. Manage Vendor Partnerships: Oversee vendor relationships to ensure alignment with objectives, SLAs, and KPIs. Collaborate with sourcing teams to maintain strategic vendor partnerships.
11. Support Critical Engineering: Provide oversight and support for engineering leadership in business engagements, reporting, and administration.
