Leigh Academy Halley is now recruiting for a Coordinator of Learning – MFL (French), to join us from September 2025.
This is a truly fantastic opportunity for a passionate curriculum leader to become part of an established, highly collaborative and successful department. All of the MFL team are subject-specialists, one of whom is on the Academy Leadership Team. All students in Key Stage 3 study either French or Spanish as part of the IB Middle Years Programme. Languages are popular and successful at Key Stage 4, with approximately 80% of students continuing with their studies until Year 11. We offer both IB Spanish and French at Key Stage 5, along with Language Acquisition courses as part of the International Baccalaureate Careers Related Programme.
This is a permanent opportunity that offers a salary MPS/UPS with a TLR commensurate with experience.

Being part of Leigh Academies Trust
As of 1st September 2024, our Trust comprises 33 geographically organised academies (17 secondaries, 14 primaries and 2 special) educating more than 24,000 students and employing 4,000 talented staff.
