The Opportunity
We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to join our Advisory team in Cardiff. This is an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager to join an existing team delivering projects across a range of sectors, allowing diversity in your role and exposure to different clients and sectors. The role will include working directly with clients and Arup teams on a range of built environment projects and contributing to new business opportunities from the team. Duties will include managing the delivery of projects either independently or as part of a team through all stages of the project life cycle.
Is this role right for you?
If you have a demonstrable background in programme and project management, this could be the role for you. You will also prepare reports and present to project boards and attend client meetings/progress meetings. As a senior member of the team, you will coordinate project team activities, including multidisciplinary teams and providing guidance to junior colleagues. Another interesting aspect of this role is that you will get the opportunity to contribute to business development activities of the group, including preparing and managing bids.
Requirements:

* Professionally chartered with a relevant institution (Association for Project Management or equivalent).
* A rounded understanding of delivering projects in the built environment through planning, design & construction.
* A background in a programme/project management role.
