This role focuses on the engineering and planning of heavy lift and transportation projects. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in hydraulic gantry installations, crane lifting projects, and transportation solutions including SPMT and modular conventional transports. Project Leadership: Serve as a key point of contact for customers and site operation teams, ensuring high levels of service and technical guidance. Documentation and Compliance: Develop and maintain critical engineering documents such as drawings, calculations, and risk assessments with a focus on safety and quality. Site Operations Support: Conduct site visits, assess requirements, participate in operations, and provide on-site leadership to ensure efficient and safe project execution. Qualifications and Skills Required: Essential: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related discipline, or significant industry experience. Strong experience in managing large-scale construction projects and heavy lift transport. Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office applications. Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage client relationships effectively. Valid UK driving license and right to work in the UK. Desirable: Master’s degree in an Engineering-related discipline. Certifications such as IOSH Managing Safely or CSCS Appointed Person. Experience with advanced lifting operations and transportation configurations. Location: Office locations are in Greater Bristol (North Somerset), Newcastle (North-East), and Nottinghamshire.
