A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join the Adult Community Services for a full time, Band 3 Administrator.
We are a multi-disciplinary team covering the whole of Salford facilitating clients' discharge back into their own home. Our vision is 'People are in the right place, at the right time - meaning nobody spends more nights away from home than is absolutely necessary.'
You will work closely with the Multi-Disciplinary Team supporting the development of the discharge services to deliver care closer to home.
Main duties of the job
You will work closely with the other members of the team to provide excellent administrative service. You will liaise regularly with external and internal partners. You will be an excellent team player and also possess excellent communication skills and must be able to work on your own initiative to organise and prioritise your own caseload and balance this with the demands of this diverse and varied role.
The ideal candidate will have administration experience, excellent communication skills and be proficient with a wide variety of computer packages including Microsoft, EPR, and Medisec. Good knowledge of Patient Centre is required as managing referrals is a big part of the role.

Knowledge, Training & Experience
* Experience as an Administrator or equivalent experience
* Experience of Trust systems i.e., Patient Centre, EPR, Medisec
* Experience using Microsoft Package & Outlook
* Proven experience in a care setting or similar role
* Previous experience of working in a customer care environment
* Experience of working in the NHS
Skills & Abilities
* Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills

Qualifications
* Business Administration, RSA 2/NVQ 3 or equivalent in administration, office management or can demonstrate relevant experience.
* OCR (RSA) Level II/NVQ Level II in Administration or equivalent.
