Job Description
Responsibilities:
1. Support manufacturing process establishment, focusing on small bore tube welding.
2. Attend troubleshooting activities in Subsea Distribution (SSD) daily production and projects, interacting with global engineering teams for QN management, procedural updates, design reviews, technical discussions, and new product development.
3. Review, interpret, analyze, and circulate in-house raw material test reports and supplier reports.
4. Optimize processes and take ownership of welding processes and SSD products.
5. Troubleshoot process issues and coordinate with procurement for technical clarifications.
6. Coordinate with planning for forecast and execution strategy, and with procurement for raw material requirements.
7. Review and approve process documentation, SOPs, and work instructions.
Requirements:
1. Strong understanding of general math, and proficiency in reading, writing, and comprehending English and Hindi. Ability to interpret technical drawings, BOM, procedures, and safety documents.
2. Experience with small bore tube welding and familiarity with subsea distribution products (UTA, Cobra head, Logic cap, HDM, SDU).
3. Knowledge of API and ASTM codes, pressure standards, and subsea distribution product lines, including assembly and testing.
4. Experience with measurement tools (OD/ID meters, hardness testers, PG/PT, temperature gauges).
5. Experience working in a shop floor environment, with heavy hydraulic equipment and automation knowledge preferred.
6. Valid operating licenses for overhead cranes and forklifts advantageous.
7. Awareness of industrial safety standards and ability to perform dimensional inspections on heavy equipment.
8. Working knowledge of SAP, lean implementation, VSMs, and shop floor digitization.
9. Bachelor's degree with 5 years of relevant industry experience or 8 years with a diploma.
