Nursery: Bright Horizons Saffron Walden Day Nursery and Preschool
Salary: From £25,223 per annum FTE (dependant on qualification/s and experience)
Contract: Term Time (part time) / Wed, Thurs, Fri / 8am-5pm
Location: Saffron Walden
We are looking for a term time, part time practitioner to join our Bright Horizons Saffron Walden Nursery.
This position requires experience of working with children with special educational needs, however full training will be provided to support the child's individual needs. Full and relevant early years qualifications are desirable but not essential to the role. We can also consider full time/all year round if required.
Our Bright Horizons Saffron Walden Nursery is situated in the grounds of the Saffron Walden County High School and is Ofsted rated "Good". The nursery offers on-site parking with an inviting staff room regularly stocked with goodies for the staff to enjoy.

What you’ll be doing
10. Plan, create, implement and reflect on engaging activities, tailored to each of your key children, to encourage their development towards key milestones.
11. Develop and maintain strong parent/ carer partnerships
12. Promote and ensure child welfare, protection, health and safety and safeguarding
13. Work with colleagues to maintain a positive, happy and safe environment
What we’re looking for
14. Ideally you will hold a full and relevant Level 2 or above Early Years qualification (essential)
15. Previous experience working with children (ideally as a Nursery Nurse, Nursery Practitioner, Early Years Educator, or similar)
16. Passion for making learning fun and engaging for each child
17. Ability to build trust and strong working relationships with both colleagues and parents
18. Ability to use a variety of communication techniques with both children and adults
19. Strong knowledge and understanding of Safeguarding, Child Protection, and the wider legislative requirements for working with children
