Resposibilities Providing customer service: Educate customers on how to maintain their vehicles Maintaining tools and equipment: Keep tools and equipment in good condition Preparing estimates: Provide cost and time estimates for work Updating service records: Keep records of vehicle service Installing accessories: Fit new accessories to vehicles Maintaining a spare parts database: Keep a database of spare parts in the repair garage Maintaining oil, tires, and other consumables: Ensure these are at safe levels Diagnosing issues: Use manual methods or software and digital tools to identify mechanical and electrical faults Repairing and replacing parts: Fix or replace worn out parts Performing maintenance: Carry out scheduled maintenance and servicing Conducting safety checks: Examine vehicles to determine if further safety work is required Do engine rebuild, Timing chain and clutch works.
