Overview Leading a team of 3 individuals, you will provide guidance, instruction, direction and leadership to the existing team. The role will require you to be both hands-on in activities whilst also leading more junior staff. You will also take responsibility for processes and procedures and ensuring consistency of work throughout the team to support the sales function. Key Responsibility Areas Lead the team to deliver consistent outcomes to the sales team Provide encouragement to team members, including communicating team goals and identifying areas for new training or skill checks Support the sales team in preparing “standard” customer contracts Manage the contract renewals process, providing timely information to the sales team Support sales team in managing customer inventories/asset lists, including keeping detailed records of inventory use, new sales and RMA's Provide regular reports/updates to the Sales Director/Finance Director on the renewal of contracts Provide quality customer service, including interacting with customers and suppliers Process sales orders/amendments where necessary on behalf of the salesperson Manage vendor relationships and process vendor deal registrations for the sales team Day to day management of the team, including, holiday approvals, regular appraisals etc Key skills required Previous team leader/management experience in similar roles Ability to “think on your feet” Excellent written and verbal communication Experience with CRM tools, reporting and analysis Confident with Microsoft Office programs Personal Competencies Common sense, assertive, attention to detail, accurate, commercial sense Good organisational skills Ability to perform under pressure Good communication skills Enthusiastic and dynamic personality Excellent time keeping and time management skills
