My client is a specialist RC/Groundworks sub contractor based in Hertfordshire.
They have doubled turnover in the last 12 months and due to this they are restructuring certain parts of the business so the FC/Management Accountant will be a crucial part of this to ensure the business is operating in a commercially viable way.
Key tasks will be as follows:
* Produce ‘Cash’ and ‘Cost’ flow forecasts and accurately manage the company bank position.
* Reconcile bank statements.
* Manage HMRC in recovery and payment of VAT.
* Produce Monthly Overhead Statements and reconcile with annual Overheads Budget.
* Produce monthly Management Accounts.
* Tax Planning in both R&D tax recovery and Corporation Tax
* Year End Audit Support and Preparation of Accounts
* Management of Company Credit Rating and level of Credit with Suppliers.
* Prepare Monthly Retention report.
* Support the Head of Accounts (and HR) in all Financial matters.
* Understand and operate the company accounting system (Integrity Evolution)
