What you will be doing
As a Technology Engineer, you will be responsible for identifying, investigating, and maturing Weapon Systems technologies that can shape the future of the Land UK Munitions business. You will be a part of the Technology Team and will work closely with engineers from across the business to progress the right innovative solutions to grow the business for the future battlespace.
Duties and Responsibilities
* Apply technical knowledge, systems thinking, and creativity to generate the next generation of Land UK Products and Services.
* Identify technology solutions to strategic business problems and communicate with colleagues across the business to support the decision-making process.
* Develop Prototype Systems to demonstrate the benefits of the identified technologies.
* Identify potential business collaboration opportunities in academia and industry and work with business development colleagues to develop relationships as appropriate.
* Ensure appropriate intellectual property is protected and managed to the best benefit.
* Horizon scan future technologies to inform business thinking on new technologies.
Skills
As a minimum requirement, you’ll need to have obtained, or be predicted to obtain, a 2.2 in your Bachelor's or Master’s degree in any STEM subject.
