Trusts Manager – Any regional office – East of England, with agile working policy
Client
A Top 50 UK law firm with ambitious plans for growth
Role
* Administer a portfolio of trusts as well as assisting with the administration of estates and associated compliance
* Ensure timely completion of trust income tax returns and capital gains tax and inheritance tax filings
* Preparation of annual trust accounts for your portfolio of trusts using specialist accounting software
* Preparation and submission of FATCA and CRS returns (where appropriate).
* Preparation and submission of Trust Registration Service (TRS) filings and complex estate filings.
* Actively promoting the trust and tax function within the firm and externally
You
* Experience dealing with all aspects of trust administration, preparation of trust and personal tax returns and inheritance tax accounts
* Experience in a client facing role and liaising with HMRC and third parties such as banks, land agents and stockbrokers
* Minimum of 2 years’ experience in personal tax (including tax compliance) and trust administration
* A STEP, ATT or ACCA or similar qualification is desirable
