The mechanical maintenance fitter is responsible for planning and carrying out preventative planned maintenance and reactive repairs associated with the Hebburn site production facility.
Tasks include:
1. Carry out routine / preventative and reactive maintenance on all mechanical aspects of the plant in a safe and efficient manner.
2. Respond to plant breakdowns as required.
3. Carry out routine inspections and maintenance associated with the plant preventative maintenance system (FSI).
4. Ensure all work is carried out to a high standard.
5. Ensure all H&S procedures, including permit to work, are adhered to.
6. Assist in the preparation / implementation of RAMS, necessary to carry out each task.
7. Comply with Health and Safety requirements, as per training, policies, procedures, risk assessments, method statements, safe systems of work etc.
8. Report any H&S issues/accidents/near misses to line manager.
9. Attend training as required to maintain personal qualifications/competence.
Hours: 08:00 – 17:00, Monday – Friday equalling to 45 hour per week + overtime.
