We are looking for a committed Waking Nights Care Assistant to support students in our residential setting overnight. Providing personal care, assisting with eating and drinking, and moving and handling are all important aspects of this role. A level 3 qualification in health and social care is required, if you do not already have this qualification you can commence on the start of your employment with us.
NJC Scale (Enhanced rate) - Grade 5 Scale points 11 - 14 (Salary from £25,160 to £26,582.78 full time equivalent) or starting from £13.08 per hour
Night hours available: Alternate Friday and Saturday nights - 21:45 - 08:15 and Sunday nights - 21.45 - 07.30 (term time only, 19 weekends per year)
We are open every weekday and alternate weekends during term time, therefore if the advertised hours include Friday evenings and weekends these will be worked on alternate weeks only. We are open 19 weekends per year. You will work 38 weeks in the term-time and up to one week of INSET days.
