I am recruiting for a well-established Telecommunications company, operating for 18 years, specializes in a range of services, including: GDPR-Compliant Guest Wi-Fi SD-WAN Networks Managed Wi-Fi/LAN Infrastructure & Broadband/Leased Lines & Network Security
Due to sustained growth, we are seeking a 1st Line NOC Engineer to join our team. This role provides dedicated support to our clients during standard business hours (9–5) and plays a critical part in maintaining our high service standards.
The successful candidate will ensure that Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are consistently met by resolving incidents and technical issues efficiently. Collaboration with Infrastructure, Operations, and Delivery teams is essential to guarantee the smooth implementation, configuration, and maintenance of systems throughout their lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
Under the guidance of the NOC Manager, the 1st Line NOC Engineer will:
Offer detailed advice and guidance to customers for the effective use of systems, products, and services.
Identify and investigate problems to determine root causes, enabling customers to resume operations quickly.
Act as an effective interface between customers and service providers for issues requiring further support, ensuring diagnostic information is accurately communicated.
Use sound judgment to prioritize resolutions, monitor progress, and escalate unresolved issues in line with established procedures.
Manage customer incidents and requests, ensuring timely resolution and escalating when necessary to maintain SLA compliance.
Qualifications
Fluent in French at a business-professional level.
Proficiency in Maths, English, and ICT, with practical experience using Word and Excel.
Skills & Experience
Previous experience working in a network environment or support desk role.
Strong attention to detail.
Organized and capable of managing and prioritizing tasks effectively.
Exceptional communication skills with a professional telephone manner.
Practical and solution-focused approach to problem-solving.
