This unique commercial skyscraper located in the financial district of the City of London; the 38-storey building is 687,000 sq. ft of high-quality office accommodation. Job Responsibilities: To be responsible for the deployment of the security team to required locations promptly and efficiently, to ensure that a satisfactory security presence is maintained on site as required by the customer. Monitor and manage CCTV operations, ensuring rapid response to any security concerns. To ensure the highest standards of customer care are maintained all times when dealing with staff, and visitors to the site. To ensure that all security personnel adhere to their duties and policies and procedures of the site and report any breach of these immediately to the security manager. Assist the management team in all areas of responsibilities and maintain a close working relationship. Establish a thorough understanding of the site specification and monitor the frequencies of all activities ensuring they are current and in line with customers' expectations. Maintain confidentiality and establish and maintain a good reputation with the customer. Respond to customer communication in a professional and timely manner. Oversee and co-ordinate security personnel to maintain a safe and secure environment, ensuring all colleagues are following site procedures in line with the customers' requirements. Be able to liaise with external authorities and services as required and build and maintain relationships with stake holders. Respond accordingly to emergencies and incidents including fire and intruder alarms and assisting in the evacuation of the buildings where necessary. Act as a point of contact for emergency services, including police, fire, and ambulance teams. Responsible for all staff under their direct supervision and ensuring that all staff wear correct uniform, appropriate personal protective equipment and are regularly briefed. Maintain a good level of morale and discipline within the team taking into consideration their welfare. Support continuous training and development of security personnel to enhance team performance. Take a proactive approach to increasing the services offered to customer. Set and maintain the highest personal and professional standards as a colleague of CIS and adopt a total quality approach to every aspect of your work, colleagues and customers. Proactively monitor and maintain staff discipline, standards and conduct. Monitor the security officer's performance, conduct annual appraisals in line with company policy and encourage their personal development. Foster a culture of continuous improvement, providing constructive feedback and recommendations. Attend all required meetings with the customer and your line management in support of the company's aim of consistent quality service delivery. Ensure that you complete and submit timesheets/holiday and sickness forms within the given timescales. Liaise closely with your team to ensure that they are aware of any changing requirements of the contract and regularly briefed. Ensure compliance with security policies, Assignment Instructions, and site-specific procedures. Maintain comprehensive logs, reports, and documentation to support security operations. Ensure the control room remains organised, operationally ready, and secure at all times. Conduct routine inspections to identify and address any issues with the property. Ensure adherence to all security procedures without the need for micromanagement. Carry out any reasonable requests made by CIS management. Flexible in the approach to daily duties.
