About The Role
Are you an experienced HCPC registered Musculoskeletal (MSK) Physiotherapist looking for a new or additional role? Have you considered working within a prison environment to help rehabilitate and support offenders in leading purposeful lives within the community?
If you seek a role where you can develop your existing skills and learn something new every day, then this is the place for you. We value a good work-life balance, so there is no on-call or weekend work.
This part-time role involves working 24 hours a month (3 days) at HMP Ford for approximately 3 years.
You will be responsible for assessing and treating a range of MSK pathologies, including some complex and chronic cases. The role requires demonstrating advanced MSK diagnostic and treatment skills, working within a multidisciplinary team, and maintaining records as an autonomous practitioner.
This is an opportunity to be part of a forward-thinking, innovative healthcare team, including GPs, nurses, pharmacists, podiatrists, and mental health professionals, delivering high-quality, best-practice treatment. You will also be part of the wider MSK Health in Justice Team, comprising physiotherapists and podiatrists working across immigration centres and prisons nationwide.
