Recovery Worker - Penrith
Permanent, 30 hours per week

We are seeking a skilled Recovery Worker to join their team to work on a rota covering days shifts, 30 hours per week.
The role:
* Provide support to individuals with mental health issues, promoting recovery and independence.
* Assist clients in developing personal support plans and achieving their goals.
* Engage clients in meaningful activities to enhance their well-being.
* Encourage and support the residents to help them achieve their personal goals.
* Work collaboratively with other professionals and stakeholders to ensure comprehensive care.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in accordance with organisational policies.
* Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of service delivery.
* Adhere to all relevant internal policies & procedures
Ideal Candidate and requirements
* Experience in supporting vulnerable people particularly within mental health settings.
* Understanding of mental health problems and their impact on individuals.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
* Relevant qualifications in health and social care, such as NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care.
* Knowledge of adult services and support work practices.
* Empathy, patience, and a non-judgemental approach to care.
* Ability to manage challenging situations with professionalism and sensitivity.
