Join Epta as a Section Leader and play a key role in the manufacturing process, ensuring the successful & efficient production of refrigerated equipment for the retail sector. As part of the Production team, you will help lead our manufacturing staff, contributing directly to our growth strategy. Based at our Bradford site, working in a medium sized multi-disciplined fabrication & assembly facility employing 100+ staff. You will thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment, working alongside a passionate team that values your ideas and supports your growth every step of the way.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated individual to provide leadership and value to our manufacturing operations, by:
* Leading and motivating the production team (team of 25-35 people) comprising of team leaders, supervisors & operators, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
* Managing daily production activities, ensuring departmental KPI’s, schedules, and quality standards are met.
* Ensuring that all safety standards and procedures are followed, promoting a safe working environment.
* Identifying areas for improvement and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity.
* Maintaining accurate records of production data, including output, downtime, and quality metrics, and reporting to the Production Manager.
* Tracking the training of staff and providing ongoing development for team members.

* Show a proven track record of success in leadership within a medium-sized assembly/manufacturing environment.
* Have strong communication, problem-solving, and team management skills.
* Have knowledge of safety standards, quality control, and manufacturing processes.
* Have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
* Have a sound understanding of lean manufacturing principles, continuous improvement methodologies, and problem-solving techniques.
* Have experience managing health & safety (IOSH preferred).
* Have working knowledge of Microsoft 365 & ERP systems (preferably SAP).
