Job summary Orthotic Clerk Band 3 Within Therapies we have an exciting opportunity for a band 3 Orthotics Clerk to become a member of a team that operates across four departments. The job involves supporting therapy services to maintain Orthotics appointments across the sites. The contractual base for this position is Louth County Hospital. The post holder will be expected to cover all admin for Louth Orthotics Clinics which are held currently weekly (Mondays) with Tuesday been to provide support to other sites remotely. The post holder will work closely with the Orthotics Clerk based in Lincoln to provide a seamless administration processes for all Orthotics patients based within the North of the county. Additional cover/support will also be provided for the two clinics within the south of the county should the business need arise. This may require attendance at other hospital sites. Main duties of the job To ensure patients receive appointments within the local and national targets set. To ensure patients and staff receive all relevant information in a timely, accurate and effective way. To ensure all data relating to patients is captured in a timely and accurate manner. To provide a customer focused booking service. To provide reception services, to relevant areas in a professional, understanding and courteous manner. To follow agreed procedures and protocols. To organise and set up Orthotic clinics including product ordering and invoicing.
