MI ComputSolutions is seeking exceptional and qualified IT tutors to join our team (Sessional, bank, Part-time and Full-time) and inspire learners to excel in the ever-evolving field of technology, with a focus on planning and engaging sessions. This role is within Adult & Community Learning to deliver Foundation Learning ICT programmes with embedded employability at a range of levels to 19+ adults. You will have relevant teaching experience with this learner group in a similar setting. The role requires an approach to teaching and learning, which is dynamic, inspiring and engaging, making use of a wide range of teaching strategies and techniques.
You will have strong team working, classroom facilitation, and management skills. You will have excellent organisational skills and will comply with Organisation requirements including planning, assessing, and maintaining accurate records.
The successful candidate will be overall responsible for delivering excellent, inclusive, creative, engaging, and motivating lessons to learners. Once in post, the candidate must work effectively as part of a multi-disciplinary team to support learners to overcome barriers, so they attend, enjoy, achieve, and progress. Ability to keep records and to demonstrate relevant ICT skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, E-portfolio, E-mail, and Internet will also be essential.

Education and Qualifications:
1. A degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field (preferred but not mandatory).
2. Good all-round education to include Maths and English GCSE (Grade A-C).
3. Certificate in Education (or equivalent), or willingness to work towards.
Experience and Knowledge:
1. Proven experience and positive track record in the field of GCSE / Functional Skills in Adult Learning Sector.
2. Operating within an Awarding Body, quality system.
3. Proven experience in IT tutoring or a similar teaching role.
Skills:
1. Ability to teach across a range of ages from 19+ (including adult/evening classes).
2. Teach remotely using a range of virtual classroom technology and ability to deliver Blended classroom.
3. Good interpersonal skills and a flexible approach to working.
4. Good communication skills.
5. Self-starter, well-motivated and enthusiastic.
