We have excellent opportunities in the Unaccompanied Asylum-Seeking Children Team and Leaving Care teams within Warwickshire for Personal Advisors. The team is well established with very experienced and supportive staff.
As a Personal Advisor, you will be supporting young people aged 18 to 25 who are now care leavers and will be working directly with them to ensure they have a successful transition to adulthood.
* Supporting with independence skills and working with other agencies such as housing, mental health, and education.
* Supporting with immigration claims, i.e., supporting young people to solicitors' appointments and completing E visas.
* Working closely with partner agencies including Health, Police, Education, and the Home Office.
* You will have experience of working with young people in care and/or care leavers and up-to-date knowledge of legislation and pathway planning.
* The role entails travelling both within Warwickshire and out of county; therefore, regular access to a vehicle will be required.
