What skills and experience we're looking for
We are looking to appoint an Administrative Assistant to support our Administration Team. You will work closely with the Office Manager and the School Bursar to handle core duties such as email communications, letters to parents, and other tasks to aid the running of the school.
Our Administration Team are the heart of our school; greeting visitors, keeping staff and parents updated, and working behind the scenes to keep Overdale running smoothly.
This role is open to both entry level and more experienced administrators.
This opportunity is not exclusively for those who have worked administration duties for a school environment before, candidates who have worked in other sectors are welcome to apply.
You will need experience of:
• Working in an office environment
• Paperwork systems
• Strong communication skills – face to face, over the phone and via email
• Understanding and ability to follow confidentiality is essential
