The Technical Specialist Placement Student will provide support for the validation and introduction of new products, equipment and processes including serialisation to support the growth of Almac Pharma Services. They will support Almac Pharma Services packaging sites (as required) and will work closely with the Technical, Operational (Packaging) and Client Project teams. Within a validation environment, the Technical Specialist Placement Student will provide support by reviewing procedures and implement process improvements whilst ensuring all tasks are completed in accordance with the principles of current Good Manufacturing Practice. The Technical Specialist role varies from day to day. From interacting with the Client as the technical Subject Matter Expert (SME) and process owner for New Product Introduction (NPI), to investing time in identification and ownership of packaging equipment build and installation, to daily Operational support and problem-solving activities, the opportunities are endless. As process owners, the Technical Specialist has responsibility for document generation, reviews, and approvals which are critical in supporting our equipment and product validation. Timely and accurate execution of these documents ensures an efficient and effective product release whilst ultimately fulfilling our commitment to the patient and wider market.
