The Role: Working within the People and Organisational Development Directorate (POD) and reporting to a Senior Health and Safety Adviser, you will play a crucial role helping to create a sustainable and values driven health and safety culture at the University. This is an amazing opportunity to join a forward thinking and dynamic Health and Safety Team to create impactful change, driving best practice forward. Working in the Health and Safety team you will: contribute to the development, implementation and maintenance of a range of effective administrative systems and procedures. collaborate with key stakeholders across the University in the delivery of a high quality, customer-focused Health and Safety provision. provide face-to-face support to the Health and Safety team and its stakeholders, and assist in facilitating the on-site Occupational Health provision. actively develop and support systems for the effective management of health and safety information across the University About You: you will have excellent organisation, communication and interpersonal skills, good levels of numeracy and a high level of spoken and written English with an attention to detail. You will be able to work supportively in a team environment, and be able to work independently and with limited supervision.
