INTO UEA is seeking an Assistant Director of Student Recruitment to join our dynamic Senior Management Team. This role offers the opportunity to lead student recruitment strategies and build lasting relationships across global markets while representing the world-class partnership between INTO and the University of East Anglia.
About Us
INTO UEA is a joint venture between INTO and the University of East Anglia, providing exceptional preparation programmes for international students seeking to progress onto undergraduate and postgraduate degrees at UEA. Based on the UEA campus, our purpose-built international study centre helps students transition smoothly into higher education.
The Role
As the Assistant Director of Student Recruitment, you will be responsible for maximising international student recruitment to INTO UEA. You'll lead the creation and delivery of a data-driven, innovative recruitment strategy across key global markets, collaborating closely with INTO’s in-country sales teams to promote the Centre and ensure its competitiveness.
You will also play a vital role in creating strong partnerships between INTO UEA and UEA, working closely with recruitment, marketing, admissions, and partnerships colleagues to identify new opportunities for collaboration and mutual growth.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and deliver a global student recruitment strategy to meet and exceed annual targets.
* Provide first-class support to INTO’s in-country sales teams, ensuring they have the tools and information needed to promote INTO UEA effectively.
* Conduct competitor analysis and provide strategic recommendations on pricing, entry requirements, and positioning.
* Lead international and UK-based recruitment events, including in-bound familiarisation trips, agent visits, and student tours.
* Collaborate proactively with marketing, recruitment, and partnerships teams at INTO and UEA to drive shared goals and deliver impactful campaigns.
* Represent INTO UEA in central recruitment forums and projects, advocating for the Centre’s interests.
* Oversee the development of engaging marketing content, social media strategies, and student voice initiatives in partnership with the Student Engagement and Marketing Officer (SEMO).

* You have a collaborative, relationship-building approach, working closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to drive results.
* You possess exceptional communication skills and the ability to inspire confidence in colleagues, students, and partners.
* You are comfortable managing budgets, overseeing recruitment campaigns, and leading a high-performing team.
