Long Term Futures are working with a fantastic mainstream primary school in Aston (B6) that is home to a well-resourced specialist base supporting children with complex special educational needs (SEN). The school is looking for a committed and experienced SEND Teaching Assistant to join their dedicated team and provide targeted 1:1 and small group support.
This is a hands-on, rewarding role ideal for someone who has worked with complex SEN (such as autism, ADHD, communication difficulties, or sensory needs) in a primary school setting.
Your Role:
Support children with complex SEN in a nurturing resource base
Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement EHCPs
Provide tailored support to help pupils regulate emotions and engage in learning
Assist with communication aids, sensory tools, and structured routines
Promote inclusion and build trusting relationships with pupilsWhat We're Looking For:
