Inbound Marketing Specialist Southampton – Job Description
We are looking for an exceptional Inbound Marketing Specialist to join a highly proactive marketing team and make a difference in the development and implementation of Vissensa’s inbound marketing strategies and campaigns.
We are looking for someone competent and confident to own this role and take responsibility for creating and managing content alongside the existing marketing team, including blog posts, social media posts, and email marketing. You will need to understand how to analyse and report on the effectiveness of marketing efforts, and make adjustments as needed.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in inbound marketing, a strong understanding of digital marketing channels, and excellent writing, communication, and collaboration skills. The underlying experience of this person will be able to deliver the following key deliverables that underpin our business:
* Attract: The use of content and interactions with customers that provide value and cement Vissensa’s position as a trusted advisor.
* Engage: Continuously provide solutions and insight that address the problems and goals of customers, throughout the buyer’s journey.
* Delight: Create positive experiences, and provide the assistance and support Vissensa’s customers need after purchase, and throughout their relationship with the Vissensa brand.
Responsibilities:
* Creating, managing and executing multi-channel marketing campaigns that leverage SEO, social media, inbound marketing, email campaigns and events to grow customer acquisition, including:
o Developing and implementing inbound marketing strategies and campaigns
o Creating and managing content alongside the existing team, including blog posts, social media posts, and email marketing content
o Managing and implementing email marketing campaigns to increase website traffic and inbound conversions.
* Analysing and reporting on the effectiveness of marketing efforts, and making adjustments as needed
* Working with the existing marketing team to understand gaps and implement new ways of increasing conversions via web and email.
* Working and coaching the sales team to align marketing and sales efforts
* Collaborating with other departments on the design and delivery of new products and services, to create cohesive marketing campaigns
* Monitoring industry trends and having a passion to be ahead of the curve on new technologies including those applied to marketing.
* Developing and maintaining relationships with partners, leveraging partner content, partner portals and Market Development Funds (MDF) where applicable
* Conducting keyword research and optimising content for search engines
* Analysing website traffic and user behaviour to identify areas for improvement
* Measuring and reporting on the success of marketing campaigns, using metrics such as website traffic, leads, and conversions, and driving improvement to these assets.
* Providing training and support to team members on inbound marketing best practices and tools
Requirements and Skills:
* Minimum 3 years of experience in inbound marketing or a related field
* Knowledge of best practices for inbound marketing campaigns, lead generation, social media marketing, and email marketing.
* Proficiency in marketing automation and CRM software
* Strong writing and editing skills, with experience creating content for various channels
* Familiarity with SEO and keyword research utilising tools such as SEMRush
* Knowledge of website analytics tools and experience analysing data and interpreting the results
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills with internal and external stakeholders
* Ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks and projects
* Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
* Flexibility and adaptability to change
* A desire to own the role, learn and grow in the marketing field
